7th grade is getting excited for Halloween with our "SCAREDY PUMPKINS." Talking about emotion and reaction in class, we created festive pumpkins that show A LOT of emotion. This is a lesson I worked on while a substitute was here. It was based on a lesson created by Claudia Loubier. In this lesson we focused on multimedia and how various materials interact with each other. The students got VERY in to creating names for their pumpkin friends and really creating an image for their personality.

Today I decided to share more current work that is going on in my classroom! We are always doing current and relevant activities to keep the students engaged. Two of my favorite short activities have been with my high school photography class and my 7th graders.
Digital did a one day assignment focusing on perspective! What better way to learn about perspective than goofy pictures of ourselves involving our favorite books. #bookfacefriday is trending and we are in to it! Each student picked a book that they could complete the image to. The focus was on depth of field, angles, and creativity. The project was inspired by the librarian at our school from the website below. •http://www.literaryhoots.com/2016/07/bookface-friday-in-library.html |
